Part 2 of #1269 — cut a release containing the fixes consumers are blocked on.

Local verification (per request)

  • Windows: bash test full unit suite — exit 0
  • Linux (docker): soldr cargo test --workspace --exclude fbuild-python --lib in the clud soldr container — exit 0 (fbuild-python excluded only because the container lacks libpython3.13 to link the PyO3 cdylib; it is exercised by the release wheel build itself)

On merge, the Autonomous Release workflow (release-auto.yml) tags v2.5.15 and publishes to PyPI via trusted publishing. FastLED then bumps its fbuild== pin.
